Jackson, Oregon Are Good Across Board

Luke Jackson had his second career triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as No. 5 Oregon bounced back with a 107-66 romp over Florida A&M; on Friday night at Eugene, Ore.

It was the third triple-double in Oregon history. Ron Lee had the first in 1972 and Jackson had the second in 2001.

Luke Ridnour scored 21 points for Oregon (7-1), which won its 21st straight at home, the fifth-longest streak in the country and second-longest in school history. Florida A&M; is 3-4.

On Tuesday night, Oregon lost, 77-52, to unranked Cincinnati at East Rutherford, N.J.

No. 21 Xavier 87, Ball State 58 -- David West watched most of the first half from the bench because of two quick fouls but still finished with a season-high 24 points as the Musketeers (6-2) beat the Cardinals (5-4) at Cincinnati.

Twelve NBA scouts attended the game to watch West, who made 10 of 11 shots from the field, all but one of them on moves to the basket. He also had nine rebounds for Xavier, which blew the game open with a 23-6 run to start the second half.
