Why Give Up on Electric Cars?

This isn’t the USA that this baby boomer grew up in (“Interest Fizzles in All-Electric,” Dec. 14). We’re just going to throw up our hands and give up on the all-electric vehicle, are we?

So, the greatest country on Earth, the nation that put men on the moon, can’t figure out how to build some long-range car batteries. Where is the leadership that we need now more than ever? Where is the vision?
