Eligible for an Oscar Ad
What’s with the line “eligible for academy consideration in all categories, including best picture of the year” in the ads for “Amelie”? It sounds like the copy writer was desperate to get the words “best picture” in the ad and assumed this line will be interpreted by us dumb readers as actually meaning something.
