It only seemed as though every shot the San Antonio Spurs took landed at the bottom of the net.

The Spurs connected on their first 11 three-point attempts and Charles Smith scored a career-high 32 points in a 115-92 victory over Sacramento on Thursday night at San Antonio in the final regular-season matchup between the teams. The Kings won the first three.

Reserve Malik Rose had 23 points and Tony Parker had 15 for San Antonio. Tim Duncan had 13 rebounds but scored only nine points, the first time he didn’t have at least 10 this season. David Robinson had his fourth double-double in the past six games with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

“The guys played great tonight,” Duncan said. “I think I held us back in the first [quarter]. I sat down and we really started rolling.”

The Spurs didn’t miss a three-pointer until Steve Smith was short in the waning seconds of the third quarter. San Antonio ended the night 12 of 16 on three-pointers, with Smith making four and Parker three.

Dallas 98, Boston 92--Dirk Nowitzki had 33 points and 23 rebounds and Michael Finley and Steve Nash hit key three-pointers to lead a comeback at Dallas.

The Mavericks had only eight players in uniform after a trade earlier in the day with Denver, but were able to overcome a 14-point third-quarter deficit because of their three stars.

Portland 94, Atlanta 79--Rasheed Wallace had 20 points and six rebounds, Dale Davis had 12 points and 14 rebounds and Bonzi Wells had 18 points in the victory at Portland, Ore.

The Blazers won their fourth consecutive game and fifth in six games since the All-Star break.

Kidd scored 12 points, including a 40-footer at the end of the third period, in a 17-2 run that put the Nets ahead, 81-65, early in the fourth quarter.

Phoenix 78, Memphis 72--Shawn Marion scored 18 points and the Suns held the Grizzlies to six points in the fourth quarter at Memphis, Tenn.
