Man Gets 21/2 Years in Prison for Tax Evasion
A federal judge sentenced a Woodland Hills man to 21/2 years in prison for evading taxes on $1 million he earned through car insurance fraud, officials said Tuesday.
Joshua Shideh, 36, pleaded guilty in October to evading about $429,000 in taxes on $1.15 million he earned in 1995 and 1996. Shideh also was fined $30,000.
