UC Irvine 92, Idaho 54--Mike Hood scored a career-high 25 points to help the Anteaters go 2-0 in a Big West road trip this week.

It was the largest victory margin for UC Irvine (12-4, 5-0) since beating Salem State by 38 points in 1993. Stanislav Zuzak and Jerry Green scored 14 points each, and Adam Parada added 12 for the Anteaters, who stayed atop the conference standings with their seventh consecutive victory.

David Howell scored 17 points to lead Idaho (4-11, 1-5).

Pacific 73, UC Santa Barbara 70--Maurice McLemore and Eli Nolan each scored 11 points to lead Pacific to a Big West Conference victory in Stockton.

Pacific (11-4, 3-2 Big West) trailed, 49-43, midway through the second half but took the lead for good with a 15-5 run. Demetrius Jackson scored five of those points for the Tigers.

Santa Barbara (10-5, 4-2) was led by Mark Hull with 18 points and Adama Ndiaye with 17.

Utah State 70, Long Beach State 66--Desmond Penigar had 26 points and 11 rebounds to help the Aggies win a Big West Conference game and avoid successive homecourt losses for the first time since 1992-93 season.

The Aggies (4-2 in Big West, 12-3 overall), who had their 31-game homecourt winning streak ended by UC Irvine on Thursday, were last swept at home by Nevada Las Vegas and New Mexico State.

Travis Reed scored 18 points to lead the Niners (1-4, 5-11), who are 0-7 on the road this season.
