Driver Charged in Fatal Crash
One person was killed and another injured Tuesday when their car was hit by a vehicle, then slammed into a utility pole in Anaheim, police said.
The driver of the other car was charged with driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter, according to police.
The crash occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Orangethorpe Avenue near Lemon Street. Sgt. Rick Martinez of the Anaheim Police Department said an unidentified male died at the scene, and an unidentified female was taken to UCI Medical center with “non-life-threatening injuries.” Martinez identified the driver of the other vehicle as Ledell Daniel, 35, of La Habra..
