Welch Gives Up Warren Coaching Job
Jeff Welch has resigned as football coach at Downey Warren to spend more time with his family and run his family business. He will continue to teach at Warren.
Welch spent his 18-year coaching career at Warren, the past nine as head coach.
His teams compiled an overall record of 52-44-1 and advanced to the playoffs six times.
