Team Dinners: One thing that was really cool that Rick Fox did was he planned a team dinner at the beginning of every single round of the playoffs. One of the first was at a place called Asia de Cuba up in West Hollywood, which was really good. And then we also went to a place called the Palm in West Hollywood. During the playoffs, we all spent time together at those dinners and were able to unwind, relax and share stories from the last series of the playoffs.

Shopping With Shaq: I go to Rochester Big & Tall on Wilshire in Beverly Hills almost exclusively. The thing I like about it most is just that it has big sizes. That’s the thing. I went to the Men’s Wearhouse last year, and I guess one of my suits didn’t quite fit me right, because all the guys on the team said that I needed a looser fit. At Rochester Big & Tall, they have a lot of loose-fitting things and the people there are really nice. A couple of years ago, Shaq took me there to help me pick out a few things.

Mormon Singles: For the last few years, every Sunday, I’ve gone to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is located right behind the big temple on Santa Monica Boulevard. The services are three hours long. It’s actually a young, single, adult congregation, so I’ve made some good friends. You’re going for the worship service, but it’s specifically for singles, and a few of my friends have met their boyfriend or girlfriend there and gotten married. I was recently asked to be a Sunday school teacher in the congregation, so I teach twice a month and I spend some time during the week preparing the lesson. I try to go to church when the team is in other cities too. It doesn’t always work out in every city, but that’s something that I really enjoy.
