Share

Making her third start for owners James Azevedo and Charles Boyles and trainer Paul Jones, Shell Ha was dominant going 220 yards on May 23.

The 2-year-old Holland Ease filly won by 1 1/2 lengths as the 3-5 favorite, breaking on the lead from the outside post under jockey Ramon Sanchez.

Tonight, Shell Ha will try to stretch her speed an additional 130 yards in the $13,000 Corona Cash Handicap.

Owned by Corina and Celina Molina and trained by Jaime Gomez, Coup Of Corona was upset as the 1-2 favorite in her last outing, a trial for the Kindergarten Futurity on May 4. The daughter of Corona Cartel was beaten by a neck by Red Lipstick.
