Gil Morgan won his first title of the year and 21st of his senior career Sunday, shooting a five-under 67 for a three-stroke victory in the BellSouth Senior Classic at Nashville. It was his second victory at the Springhouse Golf Club, where he has finished no worse than fifth.

“Obviously, it’s been a great golf course for me,” Morgan said.

The 55-year-old Morgan, a seven-time winner on the PGA Tour, moved into seventh place on the Senior PGA Tour victory list with his first win since the Instinet Classic a year ago.

Trailing by a stroke at the start of the round, Morgan had an eagle, five birdies and two bogeys for a 14-under 202 total.

Bob McQuillan became the second recreational golfer in three days to ace two holes in one round, beating odds estimated at 67 million-to-1.

The 61-year-old retiree used a five-wood Saturday to hole his tee shots on the 167-yard fifth hole and 159-yard 16th at the Rock River Hills Golf Club at Horicon, Wis. Tom Terrill, a retired Navy captain, aced two holes Thursday on Aeropines Golf Course’s Hornet Course at Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach, Va.
