Utah State (21-5, 13-4) at Cal State Northridge (11-15, 10-7), 7--The Matadors are playing to improve their seeding for next week’s Big West Conference tournament. They can also keep the Aggies from winning the regular-season title outright. Northridge is coming off a stellar defensive effort in holding Idaho to 46 points, the lowest total by a Matador opponent in 12 years. Utah State’s chances for an NCAA at-large berth may have disappeared in its loss to Pacific Thursday.

Cal State Fullerton (4-22, 1-16) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (15-10, 9-8), 7--This is Fullerton’s last chance to equal its victory total of a year ago. The Titans, who have lost 10 consecutive games, came close Thursday against UC Santa Barbara, but lost, 54-52. Fullerton guard Ryan Dillon made seven of 10 three-point shots and finished with 22 points. Cal Poly, which will be seeded sixth in the conference tournament, defeated Riverside, 65-60, on Thursday.

UC Riverside (8-17, 5-12) at UC Santa Barbara (16-10, 10-7), 7, KPRO (1570)--Riverside, ending its first season as a member of the Big West, is coming off a 60-65 loss to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Santa Barbara wants to keep its momentum as the Gauchos prepare for next week’s conference tournament. Santa Barbara defeated Cal State Fullerton, 54-52, on Thursday when guard Jacoby Atako made two free throws and had a steal in the final 10 seconds.
