Yet Santa Barbara does not want to leave its fate in the hands of the selection committee, and the Gauchos want to continue their streak of consecutive Big West tournament titles, which stands at five. Pacific, which has won six consecutive games, is enjoying its best season since winning 20 games in 1994-95.
