Scott Young and Jamal Mayers scored to give the St. Louis Blues a 2-0 win over the San Jose Sharks at San Jose, the Blues’ first victory since the Olympic break.

The win ended a three-game losing streak for the Blues, who are fighting to maintain their playoff position in the Western Conference. They were the only team without a win after the Olympics.

Brent Johnson stopped 18 shots in his fifth shutout of the season for St. Louis, still playing without top forwards Keith Tkachuk and Doug Weight.
