at Dallas, noon, Channel 9

Site--American Airlines Center.

Radio--XTRA (690).

Records--Ducks 25-37-7-3, Stars 33-23-10-4.

Record vs. Stars--1-1-1-0.

Update--There is no denying the Ducks are sound enough defensively to keep themselves in games. They just aren’t effective enough offensively to win many close ones, as they are 11-20 in games decided by one goal. Paul Kariya has 13 goals in the last 18 games. Right wing Patric Kjellberg, who has been sidelined the last three games, is doubtful because of a sore neck. Dallas center Jason Arnott, out since March 10 because of a sore back, could play today, which would be his first game as a Star since being acquired from New Jersey in a trade. However, right wing Jere Lehtinen, out with a bruised ankle, probably won’t play. The Stars, who are battling to make the playoffs, have a six-game unbeaten streak.
