Nets’ Kidd Is Fined $5,000
New Jersey Net guard Jason Kidd was fined $5,000 on Saturday by the NBA for elbowing Indiana’s Jamaal Tinsley.
Kidd was ejected from Friday night’s game between the Nets and Pacers with 4:52 to play for throwing an elbow at Tinsley after the two were called for technical fouls while each tried to establish position in the post.
The Nets beat Indiana, 102-91, in a game that featured nine technical fouls and 59 fouls.
