Owner-trainer Janet Van Bebber has a horse in the $500,000 Champion of Champions, which will be run Dec. 14, and his name is not Tailor Fit.

Streakin Sin Tacha, a 4-year-old gelding, earned a spot in the Grade I race with a decisive victory in the $300,000 MBNA American Challenge Championship Saturday night at Lone Star Park.

Tailor Fit, last year’s Champion of Champions winner also trained by Van Bebber, was among the horses beaten by Streakin Sin Tacha. Ridden by Alvin Brossette, the son of Streakin La Jolla completed the 440 yards in 21.279 seconds. Other qualifiers for the Champion of Champions include Corona Kool, Whosleavingwho and A Ransom.
