Wonder if Donald Reads These Letters

While Mark Heisler’s Nov. 10 letter to the “L.A. Donald” is on the mark, it is unfortunately a waste of Mr. Heisler’s time. By now it is clear that Mr. Sterling doesn’t care whether the Clippers win or lose, and obviously doesn’t care about being the laughingstock of the sports world.

Until that changes, or until there is new ownership, Clipper fans will continue to suffer.

Perhaps Mark Heisler is not aware that even in sports, an owner must pay attention to the bottom line. I have every confidence that Donald Sterling, a successful businessman, will field a winner for Clipper fans while maintaining a profitable organization.

At what point does The Times stand up to the plate and call for a boycott of all Clipper games until Donald Sterling sells? Having been tormented for more than 20 years, I see no other way out of this tragic psychodrama.
