A corporal in the Marine Corps was killed in a head-on collision with another car along a curvy road near his base, military officials said Friday.
Matthew L. Kulseth, 21, of Lombard, Ill., was driving toward Camp Pendleton when his Saturn crossed the center divider and struck an oncoming Honda early Thursday, a spokeswoman for the base said.
