How to vote

Share

Voters can choose one of three ways to cast ballots in the Nov. 5 election:

Mail: Applications for absentee ballots must be received by Tuesday. Applications are on the back page of the sample ballot.

To be counted, absentee ballots may be dropped off at any polling location on election day or delivered to the registrar of voters’ office by 8 p.m. election day.

Touch-screen: Registered voters can cast ballots at any of 21 touch-screen early voting locations in Los Angeles County now through Nov. 1. It is easier to use touch-screen voting if your choices are marked in your sample ballot booklet.
