From Times Wire Reports

A man pleaded guilty to helping dump the body of a homeless man who bled to death while wedged in a car windshield and agreed to testify against the woman charged with the murder.

As part of a plea bargain, Herbert Tyrone Cleveland, 24, will receive nine years in prison and agreed to testify against Chante Jawan Mallard, 26.

Mallard, a nurse’s aide, is charged with hitting Gregory Biggs, 37, in October after leaving a bar. She allegedly drove home with Biggs lodged in her windshield and parked the car in her garage, where Biggs died several hours later from loss of blood.

Cleveland is one of two men accused of dumping the body in a Fort Worth park and helping Mallard cover up the crime.
