City Residents Offered Free Landfill Day

Moorpark residents can use the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center for free from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
This is the second and final free landfill day of the year for Moorpark residents to dispose of refuse and recycled yard trimmings.
However, officials said that hazardous material, construction debris and business waste will not be accepted.
The Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center is at 2801 Madera Road. For more information, call the center at 579-7267.
