Trainer Paul Jones will saddle nearly half the field in tonight’s $27,100 Miss Princess Handicap at 350 yards.

The meet’s leading trainer, Jones will send out Annual Edition, Emanuele Toll and Inthetwinkleofaneye in the Grade III for older fillies and mares.

Owned by the Fakri Family Limited Partnership, the Brazilian-bred Emanuele Toll has won both of her races in this country. She broke her maiden by a neck on Feb. 23, then won the San Diego Handicap about a month later as the 2-1 second choice. This will be the first time she has tried 350 yards.

Like Emanuele Toll, Annual Edition enters the Miss Princess off a victory. She took the Bellflower Handicap on Feb. 28 for her third victory in 13 outings. Owned by R.D. Hubbard and Billy Smith, the 4-year-old First Place Dash mare will break from the rail under jockey Alejandro Luna.

The picks: 1. Expocito. 2. Beauty With Rhythm. 3. Brite Future. 4. Miss Absolut. 5. Foxie Lady Fisher. 6. Scarlet Special. 7. Willie Good Time. 8. Emanuele Toll. 9. El Plebe.

Four! Use Swedish Sights and Expocito in the first, Willrunalot and Beauty With Rhythm in the second, Brite Future, Zipolator and Skeeman in the third and Inkys Beda Roses and Miss Absolut in the fourth.

Shots in the dark: Cuz Shez Crazy gets jockey Alex Bautista for her debut in the sixth. Secret Samuri goes for a new barn in the ninth.
