You Can Call Him Al
If Al Davis hadn’t been proven to exist, nobody would believe that there could be such a piece of work. He brought legal action against the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers because their uniform colors include silver and black.
In his lawsuit, Al maintained that the silver and black combination was the exclusive property of the Raiders. My dear mother is 90 years old, and she’s going to freak out when she learns that Davis is suing her over the two colors in her hair. But she’ll look great in purple and gold, and I can only hope that Jerry Buss’ lawyers don’t get upset.
