Gold Line Draws 20,000 to 25,000 Daily Riders

The Gold Line light railway averaged 20,000 to 25,000 fares each workday during its first week of operation, transit officials said Tuesday.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority had predicted the Gold Line, which opened July 26, connecting Los Angeles to Pasadena, would carry about 30,000 riders each weekday during its first year.
