Rocketdyne Pollutants to Be Discussed
Experts from UCLA will hold a public meeting tonight in Simi Valley to discuss a study on contaminants at the Boeing Rocketdyne field lab.
Investigators from the school of engineering and applied sciences are looking at whether contaminants from the rocket testing site may have traveled by air and land to the valleys below.
The study is part of an effort by state, federal and local officials to determine how operations conducted at the Santa Susana Field Lab over the last 40 years have affected workers and residents.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Vista Hotel, Valley Ballroom, 999 Enchanted Way.
