2 More Crows Are Found With West Nile Infection

Two more dead crows infected with West Nile virus have been found in San Bernardino County, bringing the total to nine birds that have tested positive, officials said Tuesday.
The latest were picked up for testing Nov. 20 in the 3000 block of North Pepper Street in San Bernardino, and Nov. 25 in the 6900 block of Reedy Avenue in Highland.
The potentially deadly virus is transmitted to humans, birds and horses by mosquitoes. Potential sources of mosquito breeding can be reported to (800) 44-ABATE.
