Police Collect Statements in Woman’s Death

Police homicide investigators have gathered more statements from witnesses that they say further link Paul Douglas Anderson to the death of Pamela Thompson, the 19-year-old Riverside woman who was run over Nov. 7 by someone driving her own vehicle, which had been stolen. She died three days later.
Police arrested Anderson on suspicion of Thompson’s murder. But the Riverside County district attorney has so far declined to file a murder charge against the 31-year-old Ontario man, instead charging him with possessing stolen property, including Thompson’s ATM card, with the intent to defraud.
