Spend $3 Million on Library, Not Bridge

Re “Golden State Has Its Hand Out for Long Green,” Dec. 10:
A proposal to build a bridge costing $3 million in downtown Yorba Linda? The only thing worth visiting there is the public library. It needs more books and a lot more parking spaces. Three million dollars would go a long way toward improving this wonderful library.
Then we hear we are considering a speed train to Las Vegas. Are we in that much of a hurry to send money to Las Vegas?
