Verdict to Keep Molester in State Hospital Upheld
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A 73-year-old convicted child molester will remain, at least for now, in a state mental hospital. A state appeals court upheld a Sonoma County jury’s verdict that Charles Anthony Krah was a sexually violent predator, and should remain in state custody.
In 1987, a jury convicted Krah of molesting two girls, one 5 and the other 12. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison and became eligible for parole in 2000.
