Human Bones Found in Canyon Are Recovered
From Times Staff Reports
Los Angeles police and coroner’s officials recovered human bones in a remote canyon Sunday, a day after two hikers stumbled onto the skeletal remains.
The hikers made the discovery below the Dante’s View picnic area about 3 p.m. Saturday, said LAPD Officer Lucy Diaz.
Detectives assisted by park rangers and a team from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office recovered the remains at 7 a.m.
