9 Held After Stabbing Leaves Victim Critical
Nine young men were arrested Sunday in connection with a possibly gang-related multiple stabbing. The victim was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in critical condition but was expected to survive, according to La Habra Lt. Fred Wiste.
Police, responding to calls about a fight in progress at 3:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of Beach Boulevard, saw several cars driving from the area. They stopped four and found the victim in one. They also recovered multiple weapons, including what they believe is the knife used in the attack. The nine suspects were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and street terrorism.
