The soundtrack to “8 Mile,” featuring Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Xzibit and others, is the No. 1 album on the U.S. pop chart for the second consecutive week after posting sales of 119,000 copies, bringing its total sales to 3.6 million copies.
The next three spots at the top of the album chart are a roll call of female artists who were nominated Tuesday in key categories for the 45th annual Grammy Awards, with Norah Jones, Avril Lavigne and the Dixie Chicks, respectively. The charts are compiled by the retail surveys of Nielsen SoundScan.
