Sacramento State Ends Losing Streak

Jimmy White scored 19 points as Sacramento State won its first Big Sky Conference road game by defeating Northern Arizona, 85-81, in double overtime Saturday at Flagstaff, Ariz.

It ended a 49-game losing streak over seven years of road conference games for the Hornets, who are 6-8 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Northern Arizona (9-5, 0-1), which defeated UCLA, 67-63 on Dec. 17, lost for the first time in seven home games this season despite Ryan McDade’s 27 points, 13 rebounds and career-high seven steals.
