Hit-and-Run Kills Man, Closes PCH
The hit-and-run death of a pedestrian forced Huntington Beach police to close all southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway near Warner Avenue for at least an hour Saturday evening as investigators combed the area for clues.
The victim, a male, had not been identified. Police said they had yet to find a witness to the incident and could not provide a description of the vehicle. The body was discovered about 9:30 p.m., according to Lt. Terry Lindsey.
