Antawn Jamison had 29 points and 10 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors spoiled a special night for Jason Kidd, defeating the New Jersey Nets, 105-97, Thursday night at Oakland.

The Warriors became the first team in nearly 30 years to defeat the previous season’s NBA finalists on successive nights. They won on the road against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Kidd, who had a season-high 41 points and seven assists, had his high school jersey in nearby Alameda retired after the game. Kidd fell two points shy of his career high, but the Nets lost three in a row for the first time this season.
