Workers on Side of Road Injured by Wayward Car

Two landscapers were injured when a car lost control and struck them while they worked off Bake Parkway in Lake Forest, police said.
The men were fixing sprinklers near Jeronimo Road on Monday when a Volvo hit them. Police didn’t identify them.
A Garden Grove man, 41, suffered two fractured legs, a broken shoulder and head injuries. The other man, from Santa Ana, 31, suffered leg injuries. The unidentified driver, 19, of Lake Forest, was not injured.
