From Times Wire Reports

Homeowners draped rooftops with tarps and soldiers used jackhammers to clear roads as communities in northeastern Japan began recovering after a powerful earthquake. But relief was tinged with wariness as aftershocks continued.

The magnitude-6.2 temblor hit early Saturday, hours after a magnitude-5.5 quake. The quakes left at least 569 people injured.
