Man Who Died After Fight Is Identified

A man who collapsed and died after a fight with a co-worker has been identified as Ivan Rodriguez of Oxnard, a Ventura County sheriff’s official said Wednesday.
Rodriguez, 20, and Ricardo Fuerta Garcia, 32, brawled for unknown reasons Tuesday at Colorful Gardens nursery where they worked in the 3800 block of Somis Road, authorities said.
Rodriguez died at a Camarillo hospital the same day, and Garcia was jailed on suspicion of manslaughter, sheriff’s spokesman Eric Nishimoto said.
An autopsy was scheduled for today.
