Schvaneveldt Hopes to Add to Victory Total

Share

No trainer has won more races here than Blane Schvaneveldt. He has some 3,700 victories.

He hopes to add another with either Dale Badon or Cartels Collection, who will race coupled in tonight’s seventh, a $13,550 allowance for 3-year-olds at 350 yards.

Co-owned by Schvaneveldt with John Andreini, Dale Badon will be looking for his first victory since he won a trial for the Kindergarten Futurity on May 4, 2002.

Since then, the son of Corona Cartel, who is named after Schvaneveldt’s farm manager, has lost eight in a row.
