Fifth Race Could Go to Shescominundone

Share

Thanks to a three-race winning streak, Shescominundone was voted the claimer of the meet at Oak Tree last fall.

The gray filly ran poorly in two starts at Hollywood Park after joining a different barn after a claim and she makes her first visit to this track tonight.

The 4-year-old daughter of Runaway Groom should be hard to handle if she fires anywhere close to her best shot in tonight’s fifth, a $5,000 claimer at 4 1/2 furlongs.

The race is one of two for thoroughbreds on the card. In the first, a $4,000 claimer for older fillies and mares, Two Snaps Back, will try for her fourth win in eight starts.

The picks: 1. Two Snaps Back. 2. Humphreys Begone. 3. Jusred. 4. Seyvilla Samsagain. 5. Shescominundone. 6. Marotta. 7. Recite. 8. Eye Think Rich. 9. My First Beduino.

Four! Use Two Snaps Back and Reasonforrejection in the first; single Humphreys Begone in the second; Hope I Fly, Totally In A Rush and Jusred in the third and Seyvilla Samsagain, Like Wike, Past Rimal and Mickeys Toys in the fourth.

Shots in the dark: Smitten’s Baby keeps the services of jockey Ramon Guce in the fifth. Rubbertigerpants tries a shorter distance for trainer Russ Ragain in the seventh.
