Lonely Moon Sign Is Back for More

Share

Lonely Moon Sign, the beaten favorite in last year’s Kindergarten Futurity, will make his first start as a 3-year-old tonight in the seventh race, a $12,550 allowance at 350 yards.

Owned by Jesus and Sandra Soto and trained by Angela Aquino, the son of Royal Quick Dash will be ridden for the first time by Eddie Garcia. A winner in half of his six starts, Lonely Moon Sign has been away since finishing eighth in the Pacific Quarter Horse Racing Assn. Breeders’ Futurity Sept. 28.

Of his five opponents, only Ima Trackmaster is coming off a victory. A son of Chicks Beduino owned by Armando Leon and trained by Jose Antonio Flores, Ima Trackmaster won his last by a length at 12-1.
