Father’s Body Found After Fight With Son
A 67-year-old man who fought with his son Thursday was found dead on the floor of his home with a pair of suspenders tied around his neck, moments after the son stormed off, police said.
Authorities were called to the home in the 17700 block of Halsted Street about noon, said Officer Grace Brady of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The mother told investigators that her son, 31, and husband had been fighting when suddenly she heard the son leave, Brady said.
The mother said she went outside after him, but he drove away. When she returned, she found her husband’s body.
