Police Seek Man in Molestation of Several Boys
Police are looking for a man who recently tried to abduct children at a Kmart in Sunland in separate incidents, authorities said Thursday.
The man targets boys between the ages of 9 and 12. He has also allegedly fondled children in arcades, police said.
In August, he picked up a boy at a Vons and forcibly took him to a public library in Pacoima, where he molested the child, Los Angeles police said.
The man is bald, in his 40s, speaks with what may be an Armenian accent and has a distinctive mole on the right side of his face, said Los Angeles Police Officer Sandra Escalante.
Anyone with more information on the case is asked to call (818) 834-3115 or (818) 756-8861.
Parents who suspect their child may have been molested are urged to call (877) 529-3855.
