Man Hit by Train Is Called a Suicide
From Times Staff Reports
A 23-year-old man killed when an Amtrak train hit him committed suicide, police said Monday.
Luis Mendoza, 23, was killed about 6:50 p.m. Sunday near Lake Forest and Overlake drives, officials said. The train’s engineer was not able to brake in time.
