Heatley Speaks of Crash

Marc Savard scored early in the third period and the Atlanta Thrashers twice came back from one-goal deficits to tie the New York Islanders, 2-2, Tuesday night at Atlanta.

Atlanta (2-0-1) still has the best start in franchise history, an amazing beginning after a tragic preseason. Before the game, Dany Heatley expressed sadness in his first public comments since the crash that killed teammate Dan Snyder. Heatley was driving the car.
