Kusu Man, so impressive when winning his debut Aug. 23, will try for his second victory against six other Arabians in tonight’s third, a $6,000 allowance at six furlongs.

Owned by Mandolynn Hill Farm and trained by Sue Andrus, Kusu Man, a 4-year-old Florida-bred son of Tomanchie, won by a dozen lengths at 9-5, completing 4 1/2 furlongs in 58 4/5 under jockey Joy Scott.

Kusu Man’s foes include three other easy maiden winners: Secrets Out, who will race coupled with The Advancer as the Darley Stud Management-owned entry, and Tdjeti.

Shots in the dark: Doc A La Doc switches to jockey Ramon Guce in the first. Siberian Snow steps up a notch in the fourth after being claimed by trainer James Williams.
