Woman Killed When Pinned to Wall by Car
From Times Staff Reports
A woman was killed early Monday when she was pinned against a cinderblock wall apparently while trying to stop her car from rolling backward, police said.
The woman, Lita Miller, 67, was found dead in an underground carport at 485 Mermaid St. in Laguna Beach about 9:25 a.m. by a housekeeper reporting to work at the complex, police said.
She was discovered pinned between the door of her white 328 BMW and the wall, said Sgt. Jason Kravetz. It was unknown how long the woman had been dead.
