Woman, 34, Dies After Car Is Rammed

A woman died early Wednesday after the car in which she was riding was broadsided in a Mission Viejo intersection, officials said.
Gina Mariella, 34, of Mission Viejo was pronounced dead at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
Mariella was a passenger in a car southbound on Marguerite Parkway at Alicia Parkway when another car slammed into it.
One of the drivers ran a red light, authorities said, but an investigation is continuing to determine which one.
Both drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
