Mariposa Creek Seeks a Repeat

Owned by Billy Absher and Leland Decker, Mariposa Creek, a 2-year-old gelded son of The Informant, lost his first four starts for trainer Paul Jones but dominated July 9. Rodrigo Aceves will be aboard again this evening.
Jones will also saddle A Mere Moment, a Heza Fast Man colt who has two sixth-place finishes and a win against open maidens May 29. Ramon Sanchez remains with the California bred.
The picks: 1. Recycle Mike. 2. Wylackie Mariah. 3. Amok. 4. Like Leave. 5. Doinitforpleasure. 6. Humphreys Begone. 7. Shippey Lane. 8. Mariposa Creek. 9. Jacobs Little Angel.
Four! Humphreys Begone, Classic Tolltec and Knows What in the sixth, Vialyn and Shippey Lane in the seventh, Mariposa Creek in the eighth and Saras Boots, Boot Baby Boot and Jacobs Little Angel in the ninth.
